Marburg School of Arts presents local artist. Jill Hills to Woodlands new on-site gallery. Throughout her life, Jill dabbled with the art of painting, but it was not until she turned 50 that she started to truly take her gift seriously. She has been finely honing her craft for the past 10 years, initially staring out with watercolour, pastels and now diversifying into acrylics. Jill has a great love of rich, vivid and uplifting colours, which reflects her genuine love for life and the everyday treasures it brings. This local artist belongs to Arts Connect Ipswich and is continually learning and evolving her technique at Arts Alive Art School in Ipswich. She has also had considerable success at the Ipswich Art Awards the past few years running. Her passion is truly remarkable, as each piece she creates takes you on a journey and draws you deep into the extraordinary story it unveils. Jill’s work can be viewed in the newly re-established Marburg School of Arts Gallery soon to be officially opened, so stay tuned for details. For more info about Jill contact jillhill@gmail.com
